2026 Hero Award for Outstanding Innovation
We're honored to share that CAN-DO x FIGHTING CHANCE program has received the 2026 Hero Award for Outstanding Innovation, presented by the Los Angeles Suicide Prevention Network and the Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health.
The award recognizes our extraordinary work in implementing new, exciting, and innovative suicide prevention efforts and strategies. Through our CAN-DO x FIGHTING CHANCE programs, we offer free MMA training and mentorship to underserved youth, young adults, and people in recovery across LA County.
This recognition belongs to everyone who makes these programs possible: our coaches, mentors, partners, and the community members who show up every day.
It also belongs to our donors, whose generosity keeps the doors open and the classes free.
