DAKOTA DESCENDANTS TRADITIONAL CHILDREN'S POW WOW

June 20-21

The CAN-DO organization has been working closely with the Crow Creek Indian Reservation in South Dakota for close to a year implementing several "Community Revitalization" projects.

Conditions on the reservations are beyond anything that words can describe. This community has been forced to endure blatant human rights violations that have continued for years. What is happening still today in our own country to our Native American Indians must be brought to light. This is an Opportunity for us to courageously take action together in making a positive impact.

The ones most affected by this are our precious youth. They hold the key to the future to our country and the key to preserving the almost extinct culture and heritage of the Dakota People.

We wholeheartedly support the Crow Creek Community in their quest to restore their culture and preserve their heritage through this event dedicated to their youth.

This gathering is a time for them to honor the ones who came before them and to honor their children in making them realize what a vital part of their culture and communities they really are. To ensure that their great history continues to flow through the harts of the future Dakota Generations. We believe that this will benefit us all as One Nation as One People.

On behalf of all the CAN-DO organization and volunteers we thank you for taking the time in helping us make a difference in this community and their wonderful kids lives. Any donations make a huge impact and are greatly appreciated especially in these hard times.

CAN-DO will be broadcasting live via virtualvolunteer.tv so those who have contributed can see the impact of their donations and share in the experience.

This is an open event and anyone is welcome to join and be a part of this historical gathering.
