Second camp assessment: Aviation Camp/Dalmas #2/Cite's Soiel. We are setting up water drops here at what is hailed as one of the most dangerous camps due to gang activity. Through these assessments and distributions, we will show that proper assessment can be done because of the set up of the camp. The camp is gated with one door to enter and exit so we are going to give this a shot in an hour, first with the distribution of water then move onto food. We are working with community now to organize this efficiently and effectively. We will continue to keep you updated.
Rue Egalite', Aquin(village) drop went very successful - We dropped for Franciscan Missionaries which is without a doubt the most organized group I have come across in Haiti - Sister Martha Ann our of Baton Rouge, LA, Sister Marie Agnes and Reverend Pe're Gousse Oremil have set up an incredibly run "displacement camp" for 250 + families - because there is an influx of earthquake survivors migrating to this camp they desperately need help - If people want to get behind an AMAZING project please contact Sister Martha Ann (I need to ask permission to post her contact info) - but I can tell you that your money/donations will surely make an impact - or if people want to donate via CAN-DO.org and specify on the donation "Franciscan Missionaries" I will make sure the entire amount goes directly to them - either way I will post her info shortly - thank you for your support- today was a good day! Thank u CAN-DO Team for your coordination back home! NICE work!!! - EK
